Chancellor Fariña’s “Dignity and Respect” (or lack thereof)

image

Remember, since Carmen Fariña was appointed chancellor of the NYCDOE, it’s been nothing but hugs, kisses and flowers between the UFT and DOE.

In fact, UFT President Michael Mulgrew praised the chancellor on her mission of returning “dignity and respect” to the profession. However, we have observed everything but that here in our school system.

Please take a moment to see how the DOE goes after our most veteran members, and how the UFT, especially Queens Borough Rep Rona Freiser and District Rep James Vasquez ignore our members.

Veteran teacher Mary Bozoyan, who has been teaching at William Cullen Bryant High School for 30 years, has been retaliated against and has been denied paychecks. She just received an eviction notice. Can you help?
